Activities from Thuus

Lenk in Simmental is a paradise for an active and relaxing holiday in both summer and winter. We offer some activities ourselves. Would you like a tailor-made program? Of course that is also possible. We are happy to help you make it an unforgettable holiday!

Atmospheric winter BBQ

We start with a snowshoe walk around 4 p.m. After about 1 hour we reach this unique and attractive location. There is a BBQ teepee in the middle of forests and meadows with a sparkling stream in the background. When we arrive, the fire is already burning nicely and we are warmed up with a glass of mulled wine. Then we enjoy a delicious meal. Of course, special dining requests are taken into account.

This experience can be booked from €35 per person (min. 10 people)

Snowshoe hike

An adventure off the slopes! With snowshoes you can reach places that are not accessible to regular skiers or hikers. Enjoy a different winter sport. Hikes can be booked with different intensity and duration. If you just want a taste of this adventure, book our 1-hour hike. Are you sporty and up for a challenge? Then we go out for a whole morning, afternoon or whole day.

You pay per hour  €75 for a group consisting of 1 - 10 people. For more people there will be an additional charge of €25. This includes the use of snowshoes and poles.

Would you rather go out unaccompanied? Then you can rent your snowshoes and poles from us for €10 per day.

Ski touring

Now an adventure off the slopes! Can you make good progress on the slopes and are you in normal condition? Then you can already go on a ski tour path with Eric and a certified Swiss mountainguide. Depending on the group, the weather conditions and the snow condition, we determine a route together. We are moving forward for a whole day here. From mid-March, multi-day tours can also be booked with an overnight stay in a hut.

You can book this experience from €125 p.p. for a minimum of 3 people. This does not include the rental of the equipment.
